I was just wondering where at in Texas is the best place to hunt hogs on public lands? Any help is much appreciated.
    Thank you,
    Evan

I did some research for you and it looks like there are a bunch of hogs in Sam Houston National Forest but it sounds like it's hard hunting, which is common for public land. Even here we have to get way back in the woods away from the roads and people before you really start to see any animals and even then we mostly hunt them at night. Just the sheer volume of people always running around on public land makes it hard hunting and the animals get smart and quickly learn to avoid people out there.
