I've got the circuit judge as well, but at 100 yards the .45 drops a good 12''s, I reccomend shooting the 3'' slugs, but the .45 is great if your at a fair distance,I live in east TX as well and with my expierience, unless your just sitting in a stand waiting for a hog,the judge is nice, but in reality the groups we run into down here are 15+,when we aren't using dogs,I prefer my SAIGA .308,or mini 14-soft point or core lock ammo always does the trick.

Sak,,,,I just saw your pig pipe. Will that Eye bolt swivel? If not,,,you need a swivel somewhere. They could unscrew your cap when they twist the chain up.

Something that will bring them to the pipe quicker is to pour some fermented corn "Over" the pipe.

I put my swivel and eye bolt on the other end.

a pig pipe trick, make a false bottom in the end cap and put some marbles in there that will rattle around when moved. if they hear noise they will think there is still food in it.

There is no need for the false bottom,,,,Just put some rocks in the pipe............................
