Ruben Calo Pig Sticker Wild Hog Hunter's Model

We had this knife hand crafted by master knifemaker Ruben Calo and when it arrived it was everything we were looking for an more.




It has a 9" differentially heat treated blade to provide both strength and the ability to hold a razor sharp edge. The overall length is 14" and it's well balanced with the COG being 1" in front of the decorated and worked double guard with the front being made of tumbaga which is an alloy of gold and copper.




We chose textured olive wood handles but stag or other handle types are available. He used bronze pins with stainless steel centers and included a bronze lanyard tube. It's carried in a hand made, hand decorated leather sheath.




We're very happy with the quality and craftsmanship of the knife. We told him ahead of time that this is going to be a working knife, not something that's going to be sitting out on display and what we got was a beautiful knife that's custom designed with our sole purpose in mind.
